Fionnuala Sherry's solo album Song from Before ( 2010)
From Last.fm
"One of Ireland’s most successful musicians, Fionnuala Sherry, is releasing her debut solo album “Songs From Before”. Best known as the violinist from the successful duo of Secret Garden, she won the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest, sold nearly 5 million albums, had her songs covered by Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban and Celtic Woman, and worked with the likes of Bono (of U2), The Chieftains and Sinead O’Connor.
On her new album from Hearts of Space Records, “Songs From Before”, Fionnuala interprets an enchanting collection of some of Ireland’s most cherished melodies including “An Cuilfhíonn”, “My Lagan Love”, and “Our Wedding Day” (which is also known as “She Moved Through The Fair”)."

Elisabeth Andreasen's CD Kärleken & Livet.
From www.secretgarden.no
"Recently the Norwegian/Swedish artist Elisabeth Andreasen released her new CD ”Kärleken och Livet”. The album is a tribute to Rolf Lovland - based exclusively on his music." “It’s an album I’m very proud of”, says Rolf. “Elisabeth and I have worked together since 1985 when we did ”La Det Swinge” for the Eurovision Song Contest. The first-time Eurovision win for Norway was a great boost for both our careers and was the start of a life-long working relationship. Since then I’ve produced two of her solo albums and we performed countless numbers of concerts before I formed ‘Secret Garden’. Actually it was because of Elisabeth and the ”Duet” with Jan Werner Danielsen that I met Fionnuala Sherry in Dublin in 1994”. The album has a musical time span covering 27 years – starting with “La Det Swinge” and ending with two new songs Rolf wrote for this album – ”Du ga meg en vår” and ”Kärleken och Livet” with lyrics by Py Bäckman. "The album represents our story”, explains Rolf. “I actually wrote one of the songs that Secret Garden released on our first album, ”Serenade to spring”, for her a couple of years earlier. It was originally entitled ”Danse mot Vår”. Elisabeth has also included ”Duet” from the 1994 Eurovision as a beautiful and quiet commemoration of Jan Werner. The rest of the album is a vocal selection of ‘Secret Garden’ songs with new or translated lyrics into Norwegian and Swedish by Py Bäckman, Åsa Jinder, Jostein Fet and Rolf Løvland. "I think Elisabeth and her producer Bjørn Ole Rasch did an amazing job and I’m very honored by this beautiful album”, Rolf says. “Elisabeth has made the songs ”her own” and adds new life to each and every one of them".
